Your own private retreat resting on a serene and picturesque lake in the heart of the city. This lovely transitional stone & stucco retreat was remodeled/expanded in 2012 and offers lake views from almost every room in the home. Come watch the Canadian geese land in late afternoon. Upon entering the spacious foyer through a custom iron and glass door you are greeted with Italian tile floors and stunning views of the lake beyond. The spacious dining room to the left offers a gorgeous chandelier and French doors extending to the front of the home. The two story living room looks over the back patio and lake through a wall of glass and French doors. To the east side of the residence is a private den and inviting master suite with sitting room opening to a covered patio and lake views. The master sitting area opens to a private covered patio. The master bathroom is adorned with Italian tile flooring, separate tub, glass paneled shower, double sinks and a walk-in closet with organizational shelving. The west side of the home features a chef s kitchen with granite countertops, a solid stone Cosentino breakfast bar, lighted glass cabinet fronts, a gas cooktop and soft close drawers. Extend the life of your produce with the Liebherr refrigerator and chill your favorite beverage in the Liebherr wine fridge. The adjacent butlers pantry offers extended cabinet storage, a second refrigerator and a private catering door nearby. An attractive and functional home office features granite topped built-in workstations and casement windows to enjoy the lake breeze. An oversized dog run off the office hallway gives your pet ample room to play. A nearby secondary downstairs bedroom allows guests a place to rest without having to travel to the second story. ADDITIONAL: French doors facing front of house were added because we had considered building a courtyard in the front from the tip of the garage all across to the master side with 10 set back. We had considered an outdoor kitchen in this area. Plumbing is near the garage already. We had wanted to either build a pool in front of master or by the covered area with seating area in front of master. We also wanted to design the courtyard to have two water features, one in front of the formal dining French doors and one in front of the master French doors. We also thought of building a gazebo out into the water in the backyard since we own into the water.
